Acceptance and eligibility

By using the services, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. You must be able to form a binding agreement and provide accurate account information. If you use the services for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.

Accounts and sign-in methods

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and activity under your account. Linking Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or X adds another way to access the same account; it does not create ownership of a second account or transfer an existing workspace. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Plans, billing, and changes

Paid plans, prices, taxes, included capabilities, and renewal terms are shown at checkout or on the applicable sales page. Stripe processes payments. Unless a checkout says otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled. Preview, free, unavailable, and coming-soon features may change before general release.

Your content and permitted processing

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant CANOPY digital the limited permission needed to store, transmit, transform, and display that content to provide the feature you requested, including sending minimum-necessary material to disclosed model or service providers.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for submitted content. Do not submit passwords, private keys, payment-card numbers, regulated records, or other highly sensitive information unless a feature explicitly supports and requests it.

AI outputs and research

AI-generated output can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or fabricated. Route receipts describe processing but do not guarantee correctness, provider geography, or legal compliance. Verify important claims and obtain qualified professional advice for legal, medical, financial, safety, employment, or other high-impact decisions.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the services or interfere with other users.

• Do not break the law, violate rights, impersonate others, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not bypass plan controls, abuse free usage, scrape private areas, overload the service, or probe for secrets.
• Do not use outputs as the sole basis for high-impact decisions about another person.

Availability, suspension, and termination

We may modify, interrupt, limit, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, provider availability, legal requirements, or product changes. We may suspend access for material breach, abuse, fraud, security risk, or non-payment. You may stop using the services and request account deletion, subject to applicable retention obligations.

Disclaimers, liability, and governing law

To the extent permitted by law, preview and online services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. CANOPY digital is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the services.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Any non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.
